This is a very interesting book, with very interesting issues (not to mention the author set it in my backdoor, I don't live that far away from that part of Indiana), the author has everything very well thought out, and his characters are awesome and work so well together, it is hard to say much else without giving the good parts away. If you like audiobooks this one is narrated by Persephone Rose is not to be missed, it is really good, I can not wait for the next two parts.

Oh My Gosh what a wild ride author Saul Tanpepper takes you on, this book starts at the top of the hill of a roller coaster and never stops, even the ending is a cliffhanger (it is a serial after all) and I CAN NOT wait for part two. I had the audio book narrated by Doug Greene who just make the excitement that much more palpable. So Mr. Tanpepper you have me hooked, how many more people will you reel in?

This was one hero, action and suspense filled Graphic Novel. I have said this before, I never read comics as a kid and boy was I deprived. So I am also making up for lost time, and these are the best they are awesome and with DC's rebirth series I haven't missed out on anything since they are starting over from the beginning and also giving back stories on characters, these are the greatest and I can't wait for the next one to come out.
What can I say, but WOW! I can't say much else without spoilers , I mean wow, Killer Croc and Enchantress, I'm not sure I can go much further, Captain or is it General Boomerang? This was really an awesome volume I do not know how you can top this one.

Geek Gurl Rising from Chris Pourteau: How exactly does a superhero get his or her powers?Lightening strike? Bash on the head? From believing you can do something so much you can do it?
The Paladin from Kevin G Summers: Do all superheroes have superpowers or can they just have a big heart? Case in point, Jared Weiss superhero or vigilante?
Photo OP from Christopher J Valin: Black Harrier gets his picture taken on a cellphone while in the middle of a operations and now he needs it gone before the owner can post it on social media and his cover is blown. He manages to play the bumbling boss and delete it off of her phone but doesn't count on her phone being backed up to the cloud. Now the clock is ticking for the Harrier and his sidekick the Red Raptor to find the cloud service and delete the picture before Harriers cover is blown for good.
The Spotlight from Jeffery Beesler: How much of being a super hero is actually being a superhero and how much of is it a act and being a actor or actress. It think the superhero Myna Byrd would be the best one to ask that question too.
These are awesome stories from some of the most talented authors around and if you don't know them, than this is the best way to introduce your self to them as you get a little bit from all eleven of them. Even though I started with one or two I still find more and more that I have not read and love every time I get another of these awesome anthologies.

Dreamer from Hank Garner: What can be so bad about giving a 18 year old a journal, I mean really what do they write about anyways? Their dreams, the real ones.
The Collector from David Bruns: Mr. Rogers and Mr. Smith, hum interesting names, but Mr. Rogers has a very special talent that Mr. Smith needs, at least for a while.
Now Comes the Bringer of Blight from Ed Gosney: When Zach's superpowers make him go bad his best friend, Cody, is there for him. Cody helps to set him straight the only way a normal kid can compared to a super.
Redemption from Ian Garner: All the supers are gone but two. Both bad, but one feeling regrets for all the things he did over the years, and wanting to make amends. The other younger and hoping to become god of earth. The fight is on.
The Arch-Nemesis from Christopher J Valin: Battlegear, the bad guy, and Eaglestar, the good guy, are duking it out the only way they know how, the dirty way, low blows and such. But what happens when one doesn't want to play any more and takes his ball and goes home.
As you can see this is a different side to some of the villains, one you might never get to see, a more interesting side one you don't want to miss.
You also don't want to miss out on a chance to maybe find a new wonderful author out of these twelve top notch writers
