The 49th Mystic (ADULT)

Rachelle a simple blind girl that lives in a small contained town called Eden because of the fallout, has learned to accept her blindness, but her scientist father looks to every avenue to cure her, and when his latest cure seems to  work with a odd side affect of vivid dreams of another time and land that Rachelle seems to actually be living in when she sleeps, leads to other problems and a prophecy that may or may not include Rachelle.  This book is filled with lots of suspense and much action, and enough philosophy to keep your mind on its toes. This book was worth the 3 year wait.

A Chase of Blood on Steel Hobo Kingdom: Book One (ADULT AUDIO)

This was a really cool book set back in the days when men rode the rails from town to town just to see the country, hopping train cars at their own risk, and one man who decides to take his son with him to see the country.  But there are many sides to riding the rails, it wasn't always good, there where bad gangs, and jumping trains could be dangerous and that is if you got past the train guards, and local police.  This story shows you all the different sides not only of just the trains but that whole time of life. If you can get this as the audio narrated but the wonderful S.W. Salzman and be transported back to that time and have it feel like you are there with Denny and Shanghai.

Murder At The Paisley Parrot (ADULT AUDIO)

This book has it all Mob, serial killer, love, and Marshall in the middle of all three.  This is a action packed, suspenseful, funny at times, awesome murder mystery.  The characters are sometimes eccentric but lovable, and if you are lucky enough to have gotten the audio version narrated by the wonderful voice actor Fred Wolinsky these characters will really stand out and you will be drawn in to life of the Paisley Parrot and maybe even tend bar next to Marshall himself.  This is a fun and light murder mystery with some serious and historic (yep Marshall will take you back to the 80's) facts and details that are relevant about the life of gay men as well as everyone in the 80's.

Inferno (YA)

This is the last book of the Talon series, which is very sad as this has been such a awesome series, but also very exciting as there is a new and exciting series coming out in October that sounds awesome so check back as I have been granted the privilege of reviewing that book as well.
Inferno might be last book of the series but by far might be the most exciting, action packed and suspenseful of all the books in the series.  People die, dragons die, on both sides and in the end the ones left will have to pick up the pieces and rebuild, if they can get past their difference, and that is a big if.  This is a book that will have you up past your bedtime because you just need to read what happens next, one more page, again, again and again.  These dragons and characters have become friends it is hard to say goodbye.
